HST102.FA11-MW: More Pointers

This is a message for my MW sections of my HST 102 courses this fall. If you are in the Monday night section, ignore this.

I have posted a few more resources for you to your course syllabus page and the course wiki. On the course syllabus page (which you can reach through the navigation bar above) you’ll find a pdf of the PowerPoint slides from class the other day (under Module #1 in the schedule), and pdfs of the Personal Interest Essays and Subtopic Wiki Exhibits assignment sheets. Take a look at your leisure; we’ll be talking about them later this week.

On the Wiki, under the module page for Module #1: The Ancien Regime, I have posted some online resources you can use to help you with your question assignments this week, some primary sources and some secondary sources. Please take a look at those as well. The chapter I have posted a link to should help you further in figuring out how to answer the Key Questions.

HST203.FA11: RRQ Reminder

This is just a short reminder that your responses to RRQs #1 and #2 (David Christian’s Maps of Time and the BBC podcasts) are due by 12 noon on Tuesday. Your responses must be posted to your individual page on the course wiki by that time. Also, if you haven’t listed your individual page on the wiki front page, please be aware that I will not grade or accept your posted wiki work (i.e., you will receive a 0 for such assignments).
